en anglais, pour exprimer le but avec un verbe (en français : pour faire, pour acheter...) il ne faut jamais utiliser for.
for est une préposition.
Comme toutes les prépositions, for est toujours suivie d'une forme nominale (forme simple ou -ing)
pour exprimer le but avec un verbe, on utilise toviseur -> Base Verbale :
He is here to see you
